LeBron James has been one of the most prominent figures in the NBA for more than two decades now.
And just when it seemed that he was going to set the league free, his son is getting ready to take the league on as well.
However, Bronny James wants to be his own player, walk his own path, and write his own history.
That’s why he told all NBA teams keeping tabs on him in the pre-draft process that they should only pursue him if they believe he’s good enough to play for them and not because of his father.

Bronny has reportedly been quite impressive during the NBA Draft Combine.
Teams had never actually heard anything from him, as LeBron and Rich Paul have done most of the talking throughout the course of his career, so this is a unique opportunity to get to know James’ firstborn.
Bronny James has drawn mixed reviews over the years, with most scouts thinking he should’ve stayed in college for an additional year and that he wouldn’t even be drafted in a better draft class, and others — mostly former players — thinking he’s going to be a star.
At the end of the day, even if his path to the league is somewhat easier, people shouldn’t expect him to be as good as his father or anything like him.
They’re two separate individuals with different skill sets and personalities, and not many people would be able to live up to those unrealistic standards, not even his own son.
