The Washington Commanders got themselves a potential superstar in quarterback Jayden Daniels.
They drafted the former Heisman Trophy winner with the second overall pick in April’s NFL Draft.
Former NFL wide receiver and Super Bowl champion Plaxico Burress had an ambitious take on Daniels recently while appearing on The Carton Show.
“Jayden Daniels just may be the best quarterback in this draft,” Burress stated.

He might not be wrong.
Daniels has the same kind of skill-set as Williams.
Both can move in and out of the pocket with ease.
They can each fill up the stat sheet.
A year after Williams won the Heisman in 2022, Daniels won the Heisman.
Over his final two seasons in college at LSU, Daniels really set the world on fire.
He combined for 79 touchdowns and just 7 interceptions.
In his Heisman season last year, he had a passer efficiency rating of 208.0.
That same season, he had a completion percentage of 72.2%, threw for over 3,800 yards, and he rushed for 1,134 yards.
While in Baton Rouge, he rushed for over 2,000 yards in total over 2022 and 2023.
There is a reason why Williams and Daniels both went No. 1 and No. 2 overall.
Both are outstanding players that can immediately take the game over.
Washington, much like Chicago, has struggled to become a winner in recent years.
They’ve made the playoffs once in the last 8 years.
They haven’t won a playoff game since 2005.
Also, they haven’t won a Super Bowl since 1991.
It is time for the franchise to become a winner again, and Daniels should be the guy who turns the tide.
