The Baltimore Ravens didn’t make the most of their opportunity last season.
Not only were they the best team in the league, but they also went against the “worst” version of the Kansas City Chiefs we had seen in the Andy Reid era.
Even so, they couldn’t get the job done in the AFC Championship Game, leaving the door wide open for the eventual Super Bowl champions.
That’s why former NFL player Emmanuel Acho believes they’re not a real threat to the Chiefs anymore.
Talking on “Speak,” Acho stated that the Ravens were as good as they’d ever been last season, and still, they didn’t take care of business, via Sarah Ellison.

The analyst pointed out the fact that they had the No. 1 defense in the game by a significant margin, but they’ve now lost several key members of that defense, not to mention their defensive coordinator.
On top of that, Lamar Jackson was an MVP, so it’s not like he could get much better than what he was last season, yet Steve Spagnuolo and company managed to contain him in that postseason contest.
If that wasn’t enough, the Chiefs got better this offseason.
Of course, losing L’Jarius Sneed was a massive blow to their championship-level defense, but they’ve given Patrick Mahomes two speedsters in Xavier Worthy and Marquise Brown.
Needless to say, winning three Super Bowls in a row won’t be an easy task, but if anyone can stop the Chiefs, it might not be the Ravens.
