After losing three straight games and sitting on the verge of elimination, the Minnesota Timberwolves have lost the faith of many people across the league.
But there are still many who haven’t given up on the team and think they can win their series against the Denver Nuggets and advance to the Western Conference Finals.
Kendrick Perkins is one of those people and he shared his opinion on Wednesday’s “First Take.”
Perkins said that the Timberwolves will win Game 6 of the series, force a Game 7, and then win that as well.

Perkins then laid out his thoughts to his somewhat shocked co-hosts.
He claimed that Anthony Edwards will continue to play incredible basketball and Karl-Anthony Towns will step up too.
He also said the role players on the Timberwolves will perform better at home for Game 6.
Finally, Perkins predicted that Rudy Gobert would grow sick and tired of hearing the complaints about him and look like the Defensive Player of the Year he is.
This is quite a prediction from Perkins and it requires that the team make some massive shifts in a short amount of time.
However, fans know it’s possible because Minnesota was so dominant in the first two games of the series.
If they did it before, they can do it again.
Winning the Western Conference semifinals would be a major accomplishment for this young and promising team.
The Nuggets have reclaimed all the momentum and showed the Timberwolves why they shouldn’t be written off.
But the Timberwolves can bounce back from this and win it all; it’ll just take readjustments and a lot of hard work.
