On Tuesday night, Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets gave ample evidence for why he was named MVP just days ago.
The sensational big man led the Nuggets to a massively important 112-97 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves with his 40 points, 7 rebounds, and 13 assists.
On Wednesday’s “Undisputed,” Rachel Nichols spoke about why Jokic was so dominant and called him “exceptional” and “the best player in the league, period.”

Jokic certainly looked like the best player alive during Tuesday’s game.
Again and again, the Timberwolves attempted to limit Jokic but there was just no stopping him and he repeatedly moved past their tough defensive schemes.
Perhaps most impressive was the fact that Jokic was 8-of-9 when guarded by Rudy Gobert, the newly-named Defensive Player of the Year.
Many people are calling Jokic’s game a masterclass in basketball greatness and it ended up being a major headache for the Timberwolves.
The game had numerous examples of Jokic’s greatness, from his skillful assists to his dominant dunks and his pair of three-pointers.
Jokic is dangerous to opponents because he is the type of player who can help his team in so many ways.
Countless people believe that Jokic is the best player in the league and that is why he just won his third MVP trophy in four years.
If the Nuggets win another championship next month, the consensus around Jokic will be even more definitive.
At the same time, if the Timberwolves can win this series, they will be making a big statement because they will take down Jokic in his prime.
That is one of the reasons why this series is so exciting for NBA fans.
