With no clear superstar in the upcoming 2024 NBA Draft, it seems that everyone has paid a lot of attention to Bronny James out of the University of Southern California during the NBA Draft Combine, with many wondering where he’ll be selected in the first round on June 26 or in the second round on June 27.

At one point, many believed that James would not be taken in the draft this year and that he should return to school for at least one more year, as he is incredibly raw and didn’t have any success coming off the bench for USC during his freshman season.

However, that narrative seems to be changing, as even before the draft combine, the Los Angeles Lakers were rumored to be interested in selecting James with their second-round pick if he’s still available.

Now that James has been turning some heads at the draft combine, the Lakers might have some competition with teams potentially showing interest in the son of superstar LeBron James.

The official NBA Draft Twitter account shared some of his highlights so far.

Although James showed some promise during the draft combine, his fate will be determined on draft day, when teams have a chance to select him in the first or second round.

Even if Bronny ends up not getting drafted next month, he can be signed as an undrafted free agent, much like Austin Reaves did with the Lakers a few years ago.

Only time will tell what James’ future holds and whether he ends up with the Lakers or another NBA team.
