The New York Giants are one of the worst teams in the NFL currently.
That shouldn’t be a secret.
They will have a quarterback competition going on this summer between two backup-caliber quarterbacks.
Oh, they lost their best overall player in Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley, who is now an Eagle.
Former Giants receiver and Super Bowl champion Plaxico Burress had this to say about his old team after their schedule was released:
“We (the Giants) gotta win our first two football games. If we don’t…we could basically start out 0-5, 0-6,” Burress said recently on “The Carton Show.”
“The Giants HAVE to win their first 2 football games. If we don’t, we could start out 0-5, 0-6.”

New York has made the playoffs just once in the last seven years.
They haven’t won the NFC East since their Super Bowl year in 2011.
This franchise has struggled to be consistent winners for a long, long time.
With a rough schedule and a young team, head coach Brian Daboll will have his hands full this season.
The Giants will have eight games against teams that made the playoffs a season ago.
Additionally, they will face playoff-hungry teams like the Cincinnati Bengals, Seattle Seahawks, Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, and the Indianapolis Colts.
This really doesn’t line up well for Daboll’s team at all.
If they can’t beat the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1 and the Washington Commanders in Week 2 to start off the season, they could be looking at a winless mark seven or eight weeks into the year.
Settle in Giants fans.
It is going to be a long, long year for Big Blue.
