NBA Prospect Is Receiving Significant Buzz Ahead Of Draft

The 2024 NBA Draft is rapidly approaching.

This is typically an exciting time of year for teams, as there are usually a few highly touted players in each class.

While there are a few prospects that have been on people’s radars for several seasons, it will be hard to top the Victor Wembanyama hype from last season.

Wembanyama proved to be quite hard to handle in his first year in the league, not only winning Rookie of the Year but also making a tremendous impact on the San Antonio Spurs as an organization.

This year’s draft doesn’t have a player like him, but there are several options that are starting to get more traction as we get closer to the event.

According to Draft Express via Evan Sidery on Twitter, Tidjane Salaun is now slated to go in the top 10 of this year’s draft.

Salaun’s name continues to pop up in NBA circles, a good sign for his potential draft position in a few weeks.

As Sidery mentioned, he has been linked to the Spurs, who currently hold the No. 8 overall draft pick.

Adding Salaun to a team with Wembanyama on it could spell great success, especially if his pre-draft hype ends up being worth it’s salt.

There have been few prospects in recent history to make a monumental impact on their respective franchises.

Seeing how well the Spurs have drafted throughout the years, it wouldn’t be surprising if they found a diamond in the rough in this year’s class, whether it be Salaun or someone else that emerges.
