The Minnesota Timberwolves shocked the sports world Thursday by beating the Denver Nuggets in dominating fashion.
Despite losing the prior three games, the Timberwolves came out of the gates hot, never giving the Nuggets a chance to get back into it.
With this win in mind, the series is now tied 3-3 and will go back to Denver for the final game.
Many Timberwolves fans are excited about this Game 6 win and hope it’s a sign of what’s to come for Sunday’s matchup, but George Karl’s latest tweet indicated otherwise.
“The world’s best player and Playoff Murray will show up Sunday for Game 7,” Karl said.

Karl believes that the Nuggets are ready to come back in full force, indicating that Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray are gearing up to put on a masterclass performance.
They are the reigning champs, and while Jokic has had plenty of great games throughout the series, Murray hasn’t quite shown up how the team might hope.
In Karl’s mind, the Nuggets are more than ready to win Game 7, especially considering they have several veteran players who were experienced in doing so in last year’s playoffs.
This could end up being the first close game of the series, as all of them have been decided by at least 10 points.
Who will prevail in this one?
Will it be the reigning champs who are trying to pull off a back-to-back?
Or, will it be the relatively young, upstart Timberwolves team that has a lot to prove to themselves and to the rest of the league?
Tune in on Sunday to find out.
