Although the Minnesota Timberwolves destroyed the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night, many people think they won’t have the same luck in Sunday’s Game 7.
But Kendrick Perkins still has faith in the Timberwolves, especially because of their lead star.
On Friday’s “First Take,” he threw his support behind Anthony Edwards.
“I’m riding with Anthony Edwards on this one,” Perkins said about the final game in the series.

Perkins also said other players in Minnesota were going to perform very well during Game 7, including Jaden McDaniels and Karl-Anthony Towns.
They will all come together to continue to limit the Nuggets and earn entry to the Western Conference Finals, Perkins said.
While the 45-point win they just had was obviously very impressive, some people fear that it only fired up the Nuggets, who will play much better in the next game.
At the end of the game, Nikola Jokic had a look in his eyes that indicated he was ready to get revenge and push his team way harder.
That has some Timberwolves fans fearful of what’s next.
But Perkins doesn’t think that will be a problem because he believes the Timberwolves have figured out how to stop the Nuggets and limit their best players.
Few people expect another blowout game this Sunday but there is little doubt the Nuggets will be much harder to defeat.
Fans are sure to witness a game that could be truly entertaining.
The Nuggets are considered slight favorites to win the final game of the series but Perkins still has complete faith in the Timberwolves after Thursday night’s explosive win.
