The New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers are set to play on Friday night and it could be a historic evening.
The Knicks are up 3-2 in the series so if they win on Friday, they will advance to the Eastern Conference Finals while the Pacers will be sent home.
As noted by KnicksMuse, if they win, the Knicks will reach the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since the year 2000.

Since 2000, the Knicks have experienced a lot of ups and downs but few seasons have been as great as this one.
The team is looking so much better, especially behind the leadership of star Jalen Brunson.
The entire roster is packed full of great, competitive, energetic role players who have found a wonderful rhythm this year.
New York’s future is clearly very bright but fans of the team are eager to see them go even further.
If the Knicks are able to win this series and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals, they will be considered one of the best teams in the league.
But they will also be tasked with playing against the Boston Celtics, who will create quite a challenge for Brunson and his squad.
Regardless of what happens in this series, the Knicks have once again established themselves as one of the most exciting teams in the NBA and their fans have plenty of reasons to be excited about the years ahead.
They haven’t been this good in many seasons and if they go further in the playoffs, history shows they haven’t been this special since 2000.
