Draymond Green is one of the most outspoken players the NBA has ever seen, and it’s never a surprise to hear him let it rip on his podcast.

As critical and outspoken as he is about the league itself and any players who slight him in any way, he has always spoken fondly about LeBron James, and that apparently extends down to the rest of the James family tree.

In a recent episode of The Draymond Green Show, Green spoke highly of Bronny James and his NBA projection, saying “He has more than enough attributes and tools and things about him that will make him a good backup point guard, at least.”

Green added that while many are criticizing Bronny for not being ready yet, the same can be said for most prospects and that Bronny has the attributes that you look for, which ultimately wins out over whether or not the prospect is ready.

Bronny showed a strong jump shot at the NBA Combine and has the tools of someone who could be a strong defender at the guard position.

It’s no surprise Bronny is getting heaps of criticism and has been the talk of this draft so far since part of it is what comes with his last name, but this is also one of the most superstar-barren drafts in recent memory and there aren’t enough other prospects who are giving anybody anything to talk about.

The top of this draft doesn’t feature anything close to a slam dunk No. 1 pick like Zion Williamson or Victor Wembanyama were in recent drafts, so this might be the perfect year for Bronny to go pro.
