The Indiana Pacers are moving on to the Eastern Conference Finals after taking down the New York Knicks in seven games.

They battled back after being down 3-2 in the series, an incredible accomplishment in it’s own right.

While several Pacers players made a difference in this contest, Tyrese Haliburton was their most significant contributor.

Haliburton has quickly become the leader of this team, and when they needed him most, he certainly delivered.

He was asked several questions in a postgame interview, and while he gave good answers, the media was focused on something else.

As SportsCenter’s Twitter page pointed out, Haliburton was wearing a hoodie with a photo of Reggie Miller on it.

While it might not be out of the ordinary for a Pacers player to wear Miller gear, there was more to it.

This is a famous photo of Miller showing the universal sign for choking.

Many are calling this a “savage” move by Haliburton, as it clearly digs at the Knicks for losing this series after being up 3-2.

Regardless of Haliburton’s actions or apparel in the postgame interview, the Pacers can take pride in knowing they have made it to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in a decade.

It remains to be seen how they’ll compete against the Boston Celtics, a team that was incredibly dominant during the regular season.

The Pacers are mostly healthy heading into that series, which could bode well for their chances against a staunch Celtics roster with a lot to prove.
