The NBA playoffs have provided a lot of entertainment to fans up to this point.
All of the Round 2 series were close except the series between the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers, making for an exciting couple of weeks.
The New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers’ series went seven games, with the Pacers coming out on top.
Few people gave the Pacers a shot at winning this series, especially after they went down 3-2.
Kendrick Perkins was the first to admit that he was wrong in a recent tweet, giving the proper respect to this team.
“They have some young Dawgs that’s not afraid to get in the trenches and get dirty. They’ve earned the right to be in the ECF because nothing was given to them,” Perkins said.
Gotta give a lot of credit to the Pacers. A team that I thought was a bit soft proved me wrong. They have some young Dawgs that’s not afraid to get in the trenches and get dirty. They’ve EARNED the right to be in the ECF because nothing was given to them.

Perkins also said that he thought this team was “a bit soft,” but ultimately decided that his analysis was incorrect.
The Knicks seemed to be unstoppable leading up to this series, and the Pacers were able to put them in their place.
The Pacers will now move on to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in a decade, where they’ll face off against the Boston Celtics.
Boston has been waiting for the team to come out of this series since their 4-1 dominance over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
It will be interesting to see if the Celtics will be able to keep their foot on the gas like they’ve done throughout the playoffs, or if the Pacers can find a way to catch them off balance, building on the momentum they established in the Knicks series.
