The Boston Celtics are headed to the Eastern Conference Finals and will start battling against the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday night.
They have come very far but most people expect them to go even further and reach the NBA Finals.
In fact, if they don’t, this entire season will be considered a historic bust.
That’s what Shannon Sharpe said on Monday’s “First Take.”
He said the Celtics are healthy and have two All-Star players, strong offense and defense, and really no excuse to not win a championship this year.

Sharpe claimed the Celtics have “no excuses” and a championship is the only suitable ending for them.
This is an opinion shared by many people who have been celebrating Boston all season.
The Celtics were the most dominant team in the entire league, earning the best record and easily pushing past both the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers in the playoffs.
Now, most analysts agree they are the favorites to win against the Indiana Pacers.
The expectations for this team are so high that they cannot accept anything less than pure excellence.
Because of how they have been playing and how close they have come recently, anything short of a title will be supremely disappointing.
What will happen if the Celtics don’t go all the way?
Will they make some changes to the roster, hire a new head coach, or just stay the course with the organization they have now?
Boston fans don’t want to find out because, just like Sharpe, they will accept nothing less than a victory in the Finals for their team.
