When arguably the greatest quarterback in NFL history has a message for young players out there, it is usually wise for them to listen.
Future Hall-of-Famer Tom Brady had a message for the young quarterbacks coming into the league at the NFL Rookie Premiere.
“It ain’t about you. It’s about us…The biggest problem I see with a lot of the young players today, you guys are making it too much about me because of social media…There was a difference between being a star and being a champion…I treated a regular season game like it was the Super Bowl,” Brady told the players.

When you win seven Super Bowls, you are allowed to talk and give advice.
Brady was doing these players a favor.
The likes of Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix, etc. were all in attendance and were all present for what Brady, Jay-Z, and others had to say.
Some of those players are going to need all the help and advice they can get.
Caleb Williams, for example, is a talented player, but the Bears as a franchise has been losing for close to four decades now.
The Commanders haven’t had great quarterback play since Doug Williams and Mark Rypien in the late-80s and early-90s, which is what Jayden Daniels will try to match.
In Bo Nix’s case, the Broncos haven’t been able to find a consistent quarterback since Peyton Manning retired.
These players are walking into some new and frankly difficult situations.
For them to win, they need a winner’s mentality.
That is where Brady’s advice will certainly help.
