The first round of the 2024 NBA Draft will get underway next month on June 26, followed by the second round the following day on June 27, with a lot of NBA dreams set to be realized with some of the best of the best young players from the college game and overseas waiting to hear their name called.
One of those players will be Bronny James, son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, with a lot of speculation swirling about where he might get taken in next month’s draft.
Although there have been many conflicting reports about how NBA scouts feel about Bronny James and his chances of success on the NBA level, the USC product still seems poised to be drafted next month.
However, there’s no telling where he will land, with the Lakers expected to make an attempt to bring him in, but plenty of other teams rumored to have interest in his services.
Interestingly enough, according to Ben Fawkes, there are actually odds for Bronny James to be selected with the No. 1 overall pick by the Atlanta Hawks on BetMGM at 200-1, which is actually a popular bet.
Bronny James (200-1) has the MOST BETS (22.5%) to go No. 1 overall in the 2024 NBA draft at @BetMGM sportsbooks.
He represents the book’s biggest liability to go No. 1 overall
His odds remain at 200-1

Only time will tell where Bronny James will end up once the NBA Draft gets underway, as he could very well join forces with his father on the Lakers are end up on another team that has been impressed by what they’ve seen from the 19-year-old.
As for No. 1 overall, the consensus remains that Alexandre Sarr is the clearly favorite to be drafted by Atlanta, which likely won’t change unless something drastic happens over the next month or so.
