The Anthony Edwards effect is real, and it goes way beyond the Minnesota Timberwolves.

On top of being one of the best young players in the NBA and the No. 1 candidate to be the new face of the league, Edwards’ charisma has made it a fan favorite outside of the court as well.

That’s why the state’s tourism department didn’t waste a single second to use one of his latest viral and hilarious phrases for marketing.

As shown by The Athletic, the Explore Minnesota account coined the ‘Bring ya a**’ phrase, and the domain www.bringyaa**.com redirects you to the tourism department.

For those who lack context, this comes from Edwards’ latest post-game interview.

NBA Hall of Famer poked fun at him by stating that he hadn’t been to Minnesota in about 20 years, to which Edwards immediately replied, “Bring ya a**!”

Barkley urged the former No. 1 pick to hook him up with a list of good restaurants in the city, and Edwards accepted the task.

Anthony Edwards is who he is.

He plays and handles himself with the swagger, demeanor, and confidence of a superstar, and that kind of energy is contagious.

He’s going to talk the talk, but he’s also going to walk the walk, and he’s proven to be mature enough to give his opponents his flowers and acknowledge when he’s not up to the task.

So, if you’re looking to grab a nice meal while also watching the most exciting young player in the game right now, you know where you have to take your behind to.
