With most free agents signed and the NFL Draft already in the books, the Baltimore Ravens are still looking to add more firepower to their defense.

Needless to say, there aren’t that many stars up for grabs at this point in the season.

Nonetheless, they could still find some value at the safety position.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, John Harbaugh’s team will host veteran safety Jamal Adams for a visit.

This will be his first reported visit since being released by the Seattle Seahawks earlier in the offseason.

Adams, who has struggled with injuries for most of his career, was limited to just ten appearances over the past couple of years.

He was once an All-Pro-caliber player, but his constant ailments plagued his tenure in Seattle after being traded there from the New York Jets.

Also, with the kind of money he was making, it only made sense for the Seahawks to cut ties with him after another disappointing and injury-riddled campaign.

However, given his talent, he might be worth a flyer at a reasonable price.

The Ravens lost some key members of their defense, including defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald, and some analysts expect major regression from the championship-caliber defensive unit they had last season.

They currently have Marcus Williams and Kyle Hamilton as their primary safeties, and with Geno Stone walking away in free agency, it makes sense to at least host Adams for a visit to see what he can bring to the table.
