The NBA Draft is now just weeks away and it’ll give fans their first look at a new generation of basketball stars.
No matter where he lands in the draft, one of the biggest names in the mix is Bronny James, the son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James.
According to BetMGM, via NBC Sports Bet, Bronny is now the most-bet player to go number one overall in the 2024 draft.
This is quite a chance for James, who was seen as a potential draft bust just weeks ago.

James’ sole season with USC wasn’t the most amazing one.
He got off to a late start because of a very serious cardiac issue last summer.
When he did start playing for his team, he wasn’t scoring that much and didn’t achieve a huge average during his freshman year.
He put up 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists on 36.6% from the floor during the season.
Despite that, he still submitted his name for the draft but was envisioned as someone who might go late in the second round.
Things changed recently, as James did very well during the recent NBA combine.
At that event, James played with a lot of speed and great physicality.
He has obviously been working on his body and preparing himself for the NBA and it’s paying off.
His potential rank in the draft is on the rise and now there are more and more people thinking that he could go high in the first round.
Some say that this speaks to the weakness of this year’s draft but it is also because of the work James has done and the progress he has made during the last few months.
