Fortunately, the old guard is actually embracing the youngsters and willingly passing them the torch.

That seems to be the case with Paul George and Brandon Miller.

According to a report by Evan Sidery of Forbes, the Los Angeles Clippers star will work out with Miller in the offseason to help him grow his game.

The Charlotte Hornets’ rookie grew up idolizing George and even called him his GOAT, and there are some big similarities in their games.

They got together earlier in the season for George’s podcast, and they developed a close relationship ever since.

Per the report, Miller will also look to add weight and bulk up ahead of his sophomore season.

Brandon Miller is one of the most promising rookies in the game, as he can score from all three levels, facilitate for others, and has all the physical tools to be an elite wing-stopper as well, just like George.

George may not get the credit he deserves, and injuries took a toll on his career, but he’s been one of the best two-way players in the game for more than a decade now, and it’s nice to see him spread the knowledge and pass it on to the next generation.
