With just four teams still in contention for an NBA championship, most of the league is bracing for a very interesting offseason.
The NBA Draft class is one of the most underwhelming we’ve seen in NBA history, so teams are unlikely to bank all their hopes on those guys entering the league.
However, there could be some very interesting storylines around the league, either centered around guys who could be traded or in players who might enter free agency.
With that in mind, NBA analyst Robbie Hummel put together a list of the top-five most interesting free agents entering the offseason (via The Rally).
Who are the top 5 most interesting free agents in the NBA?@RobbieHummel says…
5. OG Anunoby
4. Pascal Siakam
3. Klay Thompson
2. Paul George/James Harden

At No. 5, he chose OG Anunoby, who was traded to the New York Knicks midway through the season and made a tremendous impact on both ends of the floor, especially on defense.
Anunoby shot 39% from beyond the arc and was one of the best wing defenders in the game when healthy.
Then, he talked about another former Toronto Raptor, as the Indiana Pacers are reportedly quite confident in their ability to retain Pascal Siakam.
Regardless of what happens vs. the Boston Celtics, he’ll have a decision to make.
Then, we find Klay Thompson, who’s obviously a core guy for the Golden State Warriors, but who could fetch more money somewhere else.
The Orlando Magic are reportedly interested in his services, and the Los Angeles Lakers could also make things work.
Paul George and James Harden got the nod at No. 2, unsurprisingly.
George reportedly wants a max contract extension and could opt out of his contract, while Harden will want to get one final big payday.
Last, but not least, we have LeBron James.
James will wait and see what the Lakers do in the offseason, but he’s almost a lock to opt out of his deal.
