During the tail end of the NBA playoffs, there’s been a lot of rumors and speculation floating around the league that “Inside the NBA” with Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith could be coming to an end.

Although Barkley has said on multiple occasions that he may only have a few more years doing the popular show on TNT, he doesn’t want it to end right now, as he feels for all the crew members who will lose their jobs as well as his co-hosts.

With “Inside the NBA” being as popular as ever, Barkley has come up with an idea on how to save the show and its crew, which would involve his production company, as he explained on The Dan Patrick Show recently.

With the show being as popular as it is and something that no basketball fan wants to see go away any time soon, there’s bound to be some solution to this problem, with Barkley’s idea potentially being the direction that it goes to keep it going for years to come.

At this point in time, it looks like the show won’t continue on TNT, as the network seems content with calling it quits, which obviously isn’t great news for the show.

However, with this show being so valuable and entertaining, something has got to be done, as someone will likely show interest in retaining it in some form or fashion.
