The Eastern Conference Finals are off to a hot start, as the Boston Celtics have taken a commanding 2-0 series lead over the Indiana Pacers.

Despite the Celtics being heavy favorites to win this game and series, there was some optimism that the Pacers could make some noise.

While there have only been two games played to this point, being down 2-0 is difficult to come back from.

Skip Bayless seems to believe that this series is already over, saying “Celtics sweep” in a recent tweet.

Will Bayless’ prediction come to fruition?

That remains to be seen.

However, the Pacers’ star player, Tyrese Haliburton, left Game 2 with hamstring tightness and didn’t end up returning.

Haliburton has dealt with other hamstring issues throughout the year, so this injury is nothing new to him, unfortunately.

If this is more than a one-game setback for Haliburton, it doesn’t bode well for the Pacers’ future.

They heavily relied on him during the regular season and the first few games of the playoffs, both as a scorer and a facilitator.

Pascal Siakam tried to do his part in Game 2, but his herculean effort was no match for the Celtics, who have two healthy stars in Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum.

Tatum and Brown are a matchup nightmare for any opponent, especially for a team that is missing one of their key contributors.

Can the Pacers figure out a way to overcome injury, hoping to win at least one game at home to keep their playoff hopes alive?
