Midway through the NBA season, a report of the Golden State Warriors trying to trade for LeBron James put the league into a frenzy.
The report claimed that there was never any traction about the trade, but it was still a big story.
Unsurprisingly, it also revealed that Draymond Green was the one who pitched the idea.
So, with James having an opportunity to become a free agent now, Green talked about the possibility of teaming up with James during an appearance on the Pointgame Podcast (via ClutchPoints).

Truth to form, Green started by saying that he absolutely loves LeBron and how close they are, but he still doesn’t see that happening unless James joins the Warriors.
Green put an end to speculation about his future last offseason when he signed a new deal with the Warriors.
The Warriors will reportedly resume their pursuit of James in the offseason, and Green should play a huge role as a recruiter.
For years, fans and even some players have mocked and criticized Green for his open admiration for James, which has looked quite one-sided and has crossed some lines at times.
Warriors fans clearly resent that, but they would gladly look the other way if their relationship paved the way for another NBA championship.
Even so, as much as everybody could love James and Curry to win another ring, it just would feel wrong or weird to watch them play together.
