The Boston Celtics are inching closer to a return to the NBA Finals.
And while most people will talk about Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown — and rightfully so — the rest of the starting lineup has also played a huge part in this run.
Al Horford continues to turn back the clock and challenge Father Time with his defense and shot-making, and Derrick White has been an absolute dog on both ends of the floor, playing lockdown defense and then hitting huge shots.
Still, it’s been Jrue Holiday who’s taken this team to a whole new level.
That’s why it only made sense that, following their Game 3 win over the Indiana Pacers, hip-hop superstar Flavor Flav wanted to get his hands on Holiday’s jersey (via Yahoo Sports).

The Public Enemy star was in attendance to enjoy the game, and he had a nice moment with Holiday after, embracing him and congratulating him on the win.
Holiday gave the Celtics the championship-caliber experience every team needs to get over the hump.
They’ve been so close to the Larry O’Brien trophy, yet they have always stumbled upon a major obstacle, even when they’ve been the team to beat.
Joe Mazzulla’s team has been the odds-on favorite to win the whole thing dating back to the preseason even ahead of the reigning NBA champions, and that hasn’t changed one bit throughout the course of the campaign.
Now, they’re five wins away from fulfilling that destiny, and they’ll need their best defensive player to keep raising the bar and playing to this level to get it done.
