The Boston Celtics are so good that it just looks like they get bored out there sometimes.

The team often goes through the motions and allows their opponents to get on some big runs, infuriating the fans and putting them in tough and avoidable situations.

Even so, they’re just so good, that they constantly find ways to get back in games and get the win.

That was the case again in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals vs. the Indiana Pacers.

The Celtics trailed by double digits for most of the game and struggled to get back on top until the fourth quarter.

Following the win, Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla admitted that once they embraced the fact that they were down double digits on the road, it was actually pretty fun to get back in the game (via Jared Weiss).

This team has the ability to just flip the switch and be dominant on both ends of the floor.

Still, that might not be enough to get the job done on the biggest stage, and that’s a trend that has come back to haunt them over and over throughout the course of the years.

The Celtics are the best team in the game, but they haven’t been truly battle-tested against a legitimate championship-caliber opponent this season.

That might cut it vs. the Indiana Pacers missing their best player, but it might not work vs. the likes of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving or Anthony Edwards in the NBA Finals.
