The Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks look to be on a collision course to meet in the NBA Finals at the moment, with the Celtics up 3-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals after last night’s tight win over the Indiana Pacers, and the Mavs up 2-0 as they head home to try to match Boston with a 3-0 lead over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday night.

Nothing is set in stone, but the betting odds for NBA Finals MVP certainly reflect these early leads in the Conference Finals, and the latest odds show an overwhelming favorite to take home the prestigious award.

After last night’s win to go up 3-0, Yahoo Sports showed the latest odds via BetMGM, and Celtics star Jayson Tatum is now a -110 favorite to win Finals MVP, followed by Luka Doncic at +300, Jaylen Brown at +425, and Anthony Edwards at +1300.

Boston is the clear favorite to win it all at the moment after running away with the East in the regular season to the tune of 64 wins, and now the Celtics are one win away from the Finals after an easy run where each of their opponents’ best players have gotten injured against them.

Whoever makes it out of the West will have gone through an absolute gauntlet, so Tatum’s Finals MVP odds reflect the likelihood of the Celtics going the distance.

His teammate Jaylen Brown could give him a run for his money, as he has been the team’s best player throughout much of this playoff run so far.
