The Minnesota Timberwolves managed to live another day.

Chris Finch’s team was finally able to close a game out to force Game 5, and the series will now head back to Minnesota.

However, Anthony Edwards is still far from satisfied, and he has a promise to honor.

Following the win, the talented shooting guard revealed that he promised Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons that he would be back in Dallas for Game 6, adding that he would bring him a pair of his signature sneakers (via NBA).

Edwards has always had the utmost confidence in himself and his team to get this job done.

Dereck Lively II being out wound up being big for Jason Kidd’s team, as expected, as they couldn’t make the most of Rudy Gobert being in foul trouble and only had Daniel Gafford out there to give them energy in the restricted area.

Maxi Kleber came back from a long injury layoff, but he’s not the rim-running lob machine that Lively is.

Also, Luka Doncic struggled with his shot, even missing a free throw that could’ve put the game within reach after knocking down an acrobatic Hail Mary of a three-pointer.

Edwards has looked exhausted throughout the series, but he did an outstanding job of carrying the load for his team in Game 4, scoring 29 points to go along with ten rebounds, nine assists, and a couple of three-pointers to keep his team alive for an extra game.

Whether they’ll be able to bring the series back to Dallas remains to be seen.
