The Minnesota Timberwolves are finally on the scoreboard against the Dallas Mavericks, and the series is now 3-1.
This is far from an ideal situation, but they can at least have a glimmer of hope for a comeback now.
Unsurprisingly, Anthony Edwards was the best player for the Timberwolves in the win, which has been the case throughout the course of the entire season.
However, the biggest difference this time was that Batman finally had his Robin, at least, according to NBA analyst Jay Williams.
Talking on ESPN’s “Get Up,” Williams argued that Karl-Anthony Towns was the reason the Timberwolves were able to win this game.

He praised Towns for finally taking a more aggressive approach and not settling for forced long-range jump shots like he did in the first three games of the series.
He pointed out that Towns’ first seven baskets were all at the rim, which is what you would want from a guy with his size and strength.
Williams added that Towns’ aggressiveness down low also opened things up for Edwards to do his thing, which obviously helped him score his 29 points.
Edwards is an outstanding player, and he’s a superstar in the making, blossoming right before our eyes.
But even Michael Jordan needed Scottie Pippen, Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal needed each other, and LeBron James needed Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, and Anthony Davis.
It takes a team to win in the playoffs, and Towns needs to keep that same approach and mindset when the series heads back home for Game 5.
