The NBA features nothing but the greatest offensive talent in the basketball world.
We’ve seen more and more young players taking the league by storm after thriving overseas.
The league saw perhaps it’s greatest scoring era in the past 15 years or so.
Defense was tougher, more physical, and peskier, which is why the best players in the league had to grind to get their spots; thus making them less efficient than those who play today.
With that in mind, former 3-and-D player Trevor Ariza talked about the three toughest players he ever had to guard (via All The Smoke Productions).

Unsurprisingly, he chose Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, and Kobe Bryant.
Ariza was one of the prime perimeter defenders in the game, so he was often given the responsibility and the burden of guarding the opposition’s best scorer.
Anthony was a bruiser, a guy who was going to go at your chest over and over, and he was going to create space to pull up from everywhere on the court.
Kevin Durant continues to be the ultimate cheat code, as he has the size of a big and the skills of a guard, and he has so many counters to every type of defense.
As for Kobe, he was a relentless competitor who would never stop and would also make you work on the other end of the floor, and his smooth game allowed him to get to his spots every single time.
