Greg Olsen was a legendary tight end in the NFL for several seasons.
In many ways, he helped transform the position into what it is today and is also a major advocate for the position moving forward.
He helped start the “Tight End U” camp, which allows NFL tight ends to come together in the offseason to hone their craft and get ready for the upcoming year.
Olsen has also found success in the broadcasting booth, becoming a talking head at FOX Sports.
He just won an Emmy for broadcasting, but his duties at FOX have now shifted with Tom Brady joining the crew in the 2024 season.
Rich Eisen recently asked him about this in a recent segment of his show, where Olsen was honest about his thoughts, as some have said that he’s going to a “B team,” of sorts,
“My excitement to go call games with Joe Davis, Pam Oliver, and our truck and our entire crew, this is a world-class crew,” Olsen said, adding, “I don’t look at this as an inferior crew.”

While some people might adopt a different mindset, Olsen seems pleased to be a part of the FOX Sports family.
He might not necessarily have an opportunity to call all of the games he did last season, but he will still get a chance to showcase his broadcasting skills.
By winning an Emmy, Olsen proved that he is in the right field and that he is respected by his colleagues and fans.
It will be interesting to see what the dynamic between Brady and Olsen is like moving forward, both on and off camera.
