Dalvin Cook was identified as one of the best running backs in the NFL for several seasons.
He made a massive impact on the Minnesota Vikings roster and was a big part of their improved rushing attack for several years.
After the team decided to move on from him moving into the 2023 season, Cook joined the New York Jets, hoping to provide a similar spark to their offense.
However, Breece Hall came back from his injury fully healthy, leaving limited playing time for a veteran like Cook.
He was released by the Jets after Week 17 of the regular season, where he was later signed by the Baltimore Ravens to help them in the playoffs.
While Cook had a few promising runs for the Ravens in their divisional-round game, it was clear that he wasn’t going to be with the team for the foreseeable future.
Now, Cook is a free agent, waiting to get another opportunity.
He recently talked about this on a segment of SiriusXM NFL Radio, outlining his next steps.
“I’m just looking for the right situation that I can help the team win like I know I can,” Cook said.

Cook is trying to stay in shape, desperately hoping to sign with a new team ahead of the 2024 season.
He had some gas left in the tank for the Ravens in the playoffs, and with that in mind, there is some optimism that he can provide value to a team, at least in 2024.
Will any team be willing to take a chance on Cook?
