The San Francisco 49ers are once again Super Bowl contenders heading into 2024.
They have been arguably the best team in the NFC over the last half-decade and have made the Super Bowl twice over the last five years.
This year, their hopes are the same as they’ve been over that stretch.
The Super Bowl is the goal.
If they win it, it will be their first championship since 1994.
FOX Sports’ Craig Carton believes they are built to win it all right now.
“This team is built, as we say in kind of a cliché fashion, to win right now,” Carton said on “The Carton Show.”

They have superstars on both sides of the ball.
This team has proven how dominant that they can be in both the regular season and the postseason.
Over the last five years, they have won 10+ games four times.
Additionally, they have made the NFC Championship Game four times.
Again, they have also made two Super Bowl appearances but have lost to the Chiefs twice.
It is time for this team to finally get over that hump.
It is time for head coach Kyle Shanahan to win his first Super Bowl after years of tough playoff exits.
The roster is arguably the best in football.
Offensively, they have a star quarterback in Brock Purdy, a star running back in Christian McCaffrey, another star in tight end George Kittle, and a couple of star receivers.
The defense, led by linebacker Fred Warner and edge-rusher Nick Bosa, is filled with All-Pros at every level.
This has to be the year for the 49ers.
