With the Dallas Mavericks making easy work of Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals, Luka Doncic and company have now officially advanced to the NBA Finals, where they will take on a very talented and stacked Boston Celtics squad led by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
Now that the stage is set for the Finals, the predictions are starting to flood in, with media and pundits choosing who they believe will come out on top in the seven-game series between the Mavericks and Celtics set to get underway on June 6 in Boston at TD Garden.
Although the Mavericks defied the odds and crushed the Timberwolves in the Western Conference Finals in five games, Dallas will head into the Finals as the underdog against the team that won a league-best 64 games during the regular season and cruised to the Finals making work of the best of the best in the Eastern Conference during the playoffs.
Rachel Nichols of FOX Sports is among the latest notable names in the media to make a prediction on what will likely be a very entertaining and competitive series, as she is going with the Celtics to win it all, via “Undisputed.”

Boston will likely be the popular pick not only because the team is favored but because the squad is stacked from top to bottom and is expected to get veteran scorer and former Mavericks forward Kristaps Porzingis back on the floor.
However, Dallas has proven to be resilient and much better than expected during this postseason, which could bode well for the team’s chances to pull off another upset.
