The New York Knicks had some tough competitors during their run in the playoffs.

First, they had to take on the Philadelphia 76ers and then they were eventually taken down by the Indiana Pacers a few weeks later.

No matter what they believe, one thing is very clear: the Knicks didn’t have it easy in the postseason.

Not only were they playing against these very strong, fast, youthful teams, but they were also short by a few players themselves.

New York’s injuries have been a problem all season long, but especially during the playoffs.

There were numerous players who couldn’t contribute because of their physical problems.

In fact, Brunson himself came dangerously close to missing time and ended the season by fracturing his hand.

But even if the Knicks were entirely healthy, they would have still had a very difficult time against the Pacers and 76ers.

Brunson’s comments show how strong the Eastern Conference is becoming.

They still have a ways to go before they are as good as the West, but there are a few up-and-coming teams that are getting better and better, including the Knicks.

They weren’t able to go all the way this season but there is a very good chance they could reach the Finals next year.

However, as hard as the playoffs were this year, they will be even harder in 2024-25 and Brunson, Hart, and the Knicks will likely have to square off against the Pacers and Sixers again.
