For two decades, Udonis Haslem was a part of the Miami Heat organization.
He didn’t get to play that much late in his career, and he was never a star, but he still made a living on the hardwood.

Haslem was sporting his Dolphins jersey and discussing football, claiming to have great vision and awareness to dissect what opposing defenses were deploying.
That’s why Miller teased him by stating that he didn’t realize he was talking to Udonis Brady, asking why he didn’t play wide receiver instead of basketball, to which Haslem replied that he only liked watching, but he knew a thing or two about football as well.
Recently, former NBA player Austin Rivers stirred the pot by claiming that he could find at least 30 NBA players who could play in the NFL, but not 30 NFL players who could play in the NBA.
That debate is futile and impossible to settle.
Both leagues have plenty of athletes who played both sports growing up, and while some athletic traits could clearly translate from one sport to the other, it takes way more than just athleticism to make it in either league.
So, at the end of the day, it’s better for everybody to stay in their lanes and just enjoy the other game as fans.
