The Dallas Cowboys have drawn plenty of criticism for the way they’ve dealt with Dak Prescott’s situation.
The quarterback has been quite vocal about his desire to stay with the team, but he’s also come to realize that this could be his final season in Arlington.
All signs point to the Cowboys not valuing Prescott enough to get a deal done.
Jerry Jones has become infamous for his mind games and constant power struggles, repeatedly making appearances on radio shows to create narratives and divert attention from what’s going on behind closed doors.
Nonetheless, NFL analyst Lance Medow doesn’t think that’s the case this time.
Talking on Mad Dog Sports Radio, he stated that the idea of the Cowboys not valuing Prescott was pretty much laughable.
“Just because there’s not a contract done, [it] doesn’t mean that the Cowboys don’t value Dak Prescott.”@LanceMedow is confident that the #DallasCowboys won’t let their star quarterback hit free agency.

He believes that the lack of a contract doesn’t mean they don’t value him, adding that he doesn’t think Jerry Jones would be that short-minded not to appreciate the stability the Cowboys have gotten with Prescott.
He might be on point, but actions speak louder than words.
Of course, there are always things going down behind closed doors that people don’t know about.
Also, stability isn’t always good in this line of business.
A team like the Dallas Cowboys must compete for a Super Bowl, and just making it to the playoffs isn’t enough, especially not after almost three decades without reaching the final game.
But if they don’t think Prescott is the right guy for the job, they need to set themselves up to get someone else in the offseason.
