Not so long ago, James Harden was considered to be one of the best players in the NBA.
His scoring prowess was second to none in the game, and his craftiness to get to his spots, draw fouls, and put up points on the scoreboard made him a perennial MVP candidate.
That’s why now that he’s walking towards the sunset of his career, it’s nice to see him spreading knowledge and giving the next generation a hand.
As a part of the Adidas Euro Camp, the former MVP went to Treviso, Italy, to talk about pick-and-roll with some European prospects (Via Swish Cultures).

Harden has always been a master at running the pick-and-roll, constantly feeding his big men with lobs or beautiful passes in tight spaces, or taking the ball all the way to the rack with his handles.
He took a page from Manu Ginobili’s book with that left-handed eurostep.
Harden’s future in the league is a bit of a question mark right now.
He found a new home with the Los Angeles Clippers and helped them get back to the playoffs, but it’ll be interesting to see how much money they’re willing to give him in his new contract.
He’s about to turn 35 years old and has a long history of character issues and postseason shortcomings, and he’s clearly not the primary or secondary option on the team anymore.
Still, Harden clearly has more left in the tank and could be a very productive player in the right role.
