One of the big conversations surrounding the Miami Dolphins this offseason has been the weight loss of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
The Pro-Bowler has lost 10-15 pounds this offseason in an effort to become more mobile.
His teammate in 1,000-yard wide receiver Jaylen Waddle recently shared his thoughts with the Miami media about his quarterback’s figure.
“I miss chubby Tua, man…He’s looking good, feeling good. Got to throw with him a lot this offseason, so he’s looking good,” Waddle said.

It was a funny moment there in the beginning to see Waddle poking fun at his quarterback for a second.
As long as Tagovailoa, who has an injury history, can stay healthy, the weight loss should be a positive development.
The former national champion can be quicker in the pocket and might be able to run away from other defenders too.
Again, he has to remain healthy for this to be a positive.
The Dolphins have the horses on offense to be great, but it will all depend on the former Alabama signal-caller.
Tyreek Hill will steal the headlines because of his accomplished career and speed.
Waddle is a younger Tyreek Hill but just as productive.
The addition of Odell Beckham Jr. should help out too.
Miami’s running backs are also quite dangerous in Pro-Bowler Raheem Mostert and speedy De’Von Achane.
So, there is clearly no shortage of offensive weapons in Miami next to the lighter Tua.
If he can stay upright and use his lighter frame to his advantage, this Dolphins team could be a fun one to watch in 2024.
