The NBA draft is coming, and a number of teams are making plans, adjusting them, and trying to lay the groundwork for their future.
One of those teams is the Chicago Bulls, who have been in a state of basketball limbo for the last few years, unable to move forward and stuck in a rut.
They are hoping to shake things up this summer, including at the draft.
According to Jonathan Givony, per NBACentral, the Bulls could “trade up” for prospect Matas Buzelis in the draft.
Givony explained:
“Sources say Buzelis’ hometown team, the Chicago Bulls, watched him work out privately in Los Angeles early in the pre-draft process. Chicago has shown a willingness to explore moving up in the draft for the right price. The Bulls’ Lithuanian president, Arturas Karnisovas, has extensive knowledge of Buzelis, who is also Lithuanian.”

Buzelis is a six-foot-ten forward hailing from Chicago who played for the G League Ignite.
Last season, he averaged 14.1 points and 6.6 rebounds and immediately caught the attention of multiple NBA teams.
He has a long frame, good ball-handling abilities, and great athleticism, too.
In other words, he is considered the full NBA package, but it’s not clear which team will land him.
The Bulls were impressed by Buzelis when they watched him work out in Los Angeles and this report shows that they are willing to make some moves to land him.
But how many moves will they make and what are they ready to give up to move higher in the draft to land Buzelis?
The Bulls won’t just be busy in the draft, as other reports have said that they could make some trades with their big-name stars, including Zach LaVine.
After years of being stagnant, this could be a very busy and productive summer for the Bulls.
