The New York Giants entered the 2024 NFL Draft with some big question marks.
There were rumors about their desire to move on from Daniel Jones, who had regressed vastly from his breakout season.
Nonetheless, they ended up giving him an elite weapon to work with instead.
Malik Nabers was the second wide receiver off the board in a stacked class, and it seems like he hasn’t disappointed in the slightest thus far.
According to NFL Rookie Watch, the LSU product has turned plenty of heads at OTAs, and the expectation around the organization is that he could have a similar impact to what Odell Beckham Jr. had early in his career.
Malik Nabers is TOO smooth
Nabers reportedly already looks like an “elite WR1” just through OTA’s.
One NFL assistant coach reportedly believes Nabers “could be like” Odell Beckham early on in his career.

They believe Nabers and Jones could be one of the best QB-WR duos right out of the gate.
While Marvin Harrison Jr. stole most of the headlines — and rightfully so — some thought that Nabers was almost as good as him — if not better.
Nabers is yet another LSU wide receiver set to make an impact right off the bat, and the school has given us plenty of talent at the position over the past decade or so.
Of course, there will continue to be some concerns and doubts regarding Jones and he’ll have to prove that he’s the right guy to lead this team back to the playoffs.
But even if that’s not the case, the Giants could still move on from him and his big contract next offseason and build around their young and stellar wide receiver with someone else behind center.
