The Dallas Mavericks are in the midst of trying to capture the franchise’s second NBA championship as they take on the Boston Celtics in the 2024 NBA Finals.
The Mavericks are currently down 0-1 in the series after being thoroughly outplayed in Game 1, but the Celtics need to be wary as the team has responded well after losses.
Luka Doncic looked comfortable in his Finals debut as he recorded 30 points and 10 rebounds in Game 1, though he’ll need to find ways to get his teammates going offensively as he only had one assist.
Dallas struggled with Boston’s size and length at every position and the latter has a natural advantage offensively as they boast five floor spacers almost every minute of the game.
Doncic is widely considered the best player in the series, though in this case he has his work cut out for him going up against Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown plus the Celtics’ strong supporting cast featuring Kristaps Porzingis, Jrue Holiday, and Derrick White.
Despite being down 0-1, it hasn’t stopped Mavericks fans from trolling others as seen in a recent video where a fan got on Charles Barkley’s nerves via Overtime.

In the video, a fan wearing a Doncic jersey points at Barkley and taunts him by saying the latter has no championship rings.
Barkley retorts to the people he’s walking with about the fan, though that doesn’t stop the heckler from shouting insults at him.
It’s unclear why a fan would want to go after an NBA legend like Barkley, though the Hall of Famer shows good restraint by not going after him.
