The Indiana Pacers got the best of the New York Knicks in the playoffs.

Tyrese Haliburton even poked fun at the Knicks by wearing a hoodie showing Reggie Miller and his famous choke sign, referring to his iconic series vs. the Knicks and his run-in with Spike Lee.

Needless to say, Miller isn’t particularly liked in the Big Apple.

Not only did he have some great games vs. the Knicks, but he’s also been a huge trash-talker himself.

He also stated that he wasn’t intimidated by the Madison Square Garden because he owned that building.

With that in mind, it wasn’t much of a surprise to see that Knicks fans called him out.

Fast forward to today, and the legendary sharpshooter claimed that this was exactly why he didn’t like them.

Talking to Mark Jackson on his podcast, he called Knicks fans ‘frontrunners,’ adding they think they’re god’s gift to basketball (via New York Basketball).

“This is why I can’t stand the Knicks…They’re frontrunners. They think they’re god’s gift to basketball…Where gasoline was poured on it was when Josh Hart came over to me…Think he was trying to be funny…’FU’…He shouldn’t have come over & said that…”

He claimed that Josh Hart reaching out to him while he was being cursed out wasn’t funny at all.

Of course, things are personal here, so we should take his comments with a grain of salt.

Also, he poked fun at them and wished them well at Cancun as soon as the series was over, so he was also a bit of an instigator.
