Even though he wasn’t able to play for more than four snaps, Aaron Rodgers has been nothing but good to the New York Jets.
He changed the entire landscape and mindset there.
As soon as he arrived, he raved about the city, the team, his teammates, and whatnot.
He showed up to all voluntary workouts and was also there supporting his teammates when he was out with an injury.
That’s why, now that he’s reportedly on vacation and missed the three-day mandatory training camp, the Jets don’t seem to have an issue with that.
However, that’s not the case with Colin Cowherd.
In the latest edition of his show, the renowned pundit went at Rodgers for being on vacation as if it were something bad.
He called him prickly and arrogant and questioned if the Jets were truly on board with his unexcused absence (via Awful Announcing).
Colin Cowherd reports Aaron Rodgers is on “vacation” overseas this week, which is why he missed Jets mandatory minicamp:
“This is sort of what you would expect. Impulsive owner, new GM, coach with a losing record, prickly, older, at times arrogant, disconnected quarterback.” pic.twitter.com/8VwjqGiDql

Cowherd also revealed that people would find out where Rodgers was on Thursday, but he didn’t have more details.
Rodgers is a proven veteran and a guy who’s always been ready to take the field when needed.
His work ethic has never been in question and reports claim that the Jets were aware of this trip months ago, even before their offseason schedule was released.
A guy of Rodgers’ caliber and with his experience does not need a three-day mandatory minicamp 40 days before the start of the actual season.
And if his actual employers, teammates, staff members, and fans don’t have an issue with him skipping this part of the offseason, then he’s not likely going to care that much about the media’s opinion either.
