With two games of the NBA Finals officially in the books, the Boston Celtics have taken a commanding 2-0 series lead over the Dallas Mavericks and appear to be cruising to what would be an NBA-record 18th title won by the storied franchise.

Although the Celtics appeared to have a significant edge in this best-of-seven series after Game 2, things have begun to get a little rocky for the reigning Eastern Conference champions, with veteran scorer Kristaps Porzingis going down with a foot injury.

Initially, the injury didn’t seem to be too big of a deal for the Celtics, but then a report dropped about the severity of the injury, which appears to be significant and has already ruled him out for Game 3 as the series has shifted to the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

Even though some believe that the Celtics will be fine without Porzingis if he can’t return to the series since they’ve only lost two games in the NBA playoffs thus far without him, Colin Cowherd of FOX Sports begs to differ, as he thinks Boston is in trouble, via “The Herd with Colin Cowherd.”

“You’re not fine without Porzingis for the rest of the series against Dallas,” Cowherd said.

Game 3 is a must-win scenario for the Mavericks, as no team in NBA history has ever come back from an 0-3 deficit in a playoff series, which means there’s a serious sense of urgency for Dallas in tonight’s game.

That said, Luka Doncic and company will look to take advantage of the Celtics not having Porzingis on the floor, and if they do and come out with a win, the series could change drastically.
