The Dallas Mavericks had a chance to come back and win the game late in the fourth quarter, but Jaylen Brown had other thoughts on his mind.

Also, with Luka Doncic fouling out, the Mavericks only had one bonafide bucket-getter to turn to.

Ironically, Skip Bayless thought that Doncic being out would actually be good for Jason Kidd’s team, but that wasn’t the case.

Following the game, the controversial pundit took to Twitter to share his impressions of the Boston Celtics’ win, calling Jayson Tatum out and praising Brown instead.

Per Bayless, the game was the Kyrie Irving show, which is why he thought Doncic’s ejection was the break they needed.

He claimed that Tatum choked late in the fourth quarter, repeatedly stating that Brown has been the best and most clutch Celtics player in the playoffs.

Tatum has a reputation for not getting the job done when it matters the most, and he did miss a crucial shot in Game 3, but he also had a great performance overall.

Brown has been the best Celtic in the playoffs, but there’s no need to take one player down to uplift the other.

Tatum has been efficient as a playmaker off double teams, and the only thing that matters is that his team is up 3-0, even if he’s had to take a step back to get the job done.
