Former NBA player Delonte West has been a sad story in recent years, as one clip after another of him struggling has gone viral over the years with each one being more depressing than the last.
West was arrested last week while cops were trying to give him a warrant for violating the conditions of his release and had to be taken to the hospital due to a medical emergency, and in the newest video that surfaced of him, West doesn’t look great following his most recent arrest.
TMZ shared a video of West stumbling around a parking lot in Virginia, appearing unaware of his surroundings and putting his hand on his head while looking around feverishly (via Daily Loud).

West has had stints since his NBA career ended when he appeared to be on the right track, namely when Mark Cuban helped him get into rehab and when he had a brief basketball comeback with the Big3 in 2022, but the lows are getting more drastic and more frequent.
West had a strong NBA career with the Boston Celtics, Seattle SuperSonics, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Dallas Mavericks and was a consistently reliable guard before being out of the league at 28 years old following a couple of altercations during his time with the Mavs.
It’s tough to see West in this situation, and he clearly needs help once again.
Hopefully, he can find it in whatever form he needs, whether that’s Mark Cuban helping him out again, or anybody else who can get him to a facility.
