The Utah Jazz have been a tough team to deal with over the past couple of years, but that doesn’t mean they’re anywhere close to contention.
They’re competitive and have plenty of talent, but it’s become more than evident that they’re not ready to be a playoff team.
With that in mind, they could look to part ways with some of their players to try and add more draft picks and young talent around Lauri Markkanen.
And according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, that means they could move on from Collin Sexton (via Evan Sidery).
Rival executives believe the Jazz could make Collin Sexton available on the trade market this offseason, per @MikeAScotto (https://t.co/c7wZcnr0R3).

Per the report, the former Cleveland Cavaliers lottery pick could be up for grabs in the summer.
Sexton never lived up to the expectations about him, but he could still be one of the best Sixth Men in the game.
He’s coming off averaging 18.7 points and 4.9 assists while shooting 39.4% from beyond the arc, and he’s going to give any team an instant burst of energy off the bench.
The Jazz could also reportedly look to move on from both Jordan Clarkson and John Collins.
They have very serviceable role players that could be major factors somewhere else, and multiple championship contenders should be very interested in what’s going on with the team.
Also, with several young players with promising futures, perhaps it would be better for Will Hardy’s team to move on from the veterans and give the youngsters a chance, even if that means not making the playoffs for the next couple of years.
