The Los Angeles Clippers failed to get the job done this season again.
In what seems to be a yearly tradition, Kawhi Leonard was hurt to finish the year, and Tyronn Lue’s team will only go as far as their best player can take them.
Not even having Russell Westbrook, Paul George, and James Harden out there was enough to prevent their downfall, and people are starting to wonder whether they will ever get over the hump.
Leonard is working on his recovery and will try to get back on the court as soon as possible.
In the meantime, he’s having a good time and blowing off some steam, making an appearance at the Tank Davis fight.
The former San Antonio Spurs star stole the headlines, not only because he doesn’t make that many public appearances, but also because he arrived without his signature braided hairstyle (via Casy Athena & Yahoo Sports).

Leonard had silenced his critics until the final stretch of the season.
He had finally suited up to play most games, which seemed like a direct answer to the league’s new policy on award eligibility and load management.
Then, just like every year, he suddenly suffered an injury he was never truly able to shake off.
Leonard is one of the best players in the game.
He can make an impact on both ends of the floor, and he can turn his team into a legitimate championship contender with his presence.
Then again, being available is also a crucial part of the job.
